The evening of Thursday 17th of May at St.Michaels bistro in Painswick flowed nicely, and so did the wine!
We hosted another fabulous Arty Party, and we had the time and fun of our lives!
With invaluable support from local artists and with massive help from:
– Anthony Lewis-Churchill,
– parish councillor Dawn Dart (who put a lot of her energy, time, charm and effort into inviting her colleagues personally from the Parish Council and most of our village to turn up to the Event)
– and an absolute star of the night, auctioneer and a person of many talents, Martin Williamson,
we managed to raise an incredible £750.50 for Play Painswick (money will go towards the recreation ground ).
We would like to say a BIG Thank you to all the guests who came to support our auction and dug deep for a good cause. We couldn’t have done it without you! Guys, you were fantastic!
We are already inviting all the artists of any sort, form or talent to take part in our next charitable Arty Party auction and we are deciding which good cause to support. Whether it will be the Croft school, the Youth project or any other very important local group in need of donations we are hoping for more support, appreciation and recognition from the community. So if you would like to take part as an artist or an art and wine lover, please talk to us and let us know your thoughts on to which charity YOU would like to support. Let’s call us 01452 812 712, sent us an email [email protected] or just pop in; we will make you nice cup of tea or pour a glass of good wine.
We are looking forward to hearing from you, to see you and to organise the next Arty Party! See you all @ St.Michaels!
